MacG Pops the Question to Long-term Girlfriend

Popular podcaster MacG is officially off the market, ladies and gentlemen, as he has just popped the question to his long-term partner, Naledi Monamodi.

The “Podcast and Chill” host took the opportunity to get down on one knee at his sold-out live event – which was held to celebrate his podcast reaching one million subscribers on YouTube – on Sunday, 30 July at SunBet Arena in Pretoria, Gauteng.

“She’s the only woman I’ve been through who loved me when I didn’t have a show and I was a nobody,” said MacG, whose real name is Macgyver Mukwevho, as he gushed about her. “Man, the stories that I can tell you about this lady, she’s f****** incredible.”

The gathered crowd cheered wildly, chanting “Yes, yes, yes” as a shocked Monamodi took a moment to compose herself by crouching down on her haunches. Finally, she stepped forward to accept the ring.

Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, gave tweeps a blow-by-blow account and shared a video of the proceedings to Twitter, prompting a flood of well-wishes from the social media platform.

“Love is a beautiful thing man,” a user named @xoli_ka_lindi said. “Congratulations to them and wish them a lifetime of joy, good health, wealth and peace.”
